Are you referring to the weather widget on the home screen? If so you can long press on it and drag it to the trash can that appears. If not then it's a separate app that you have to open, click on menu, and fiddle with the settings. OR you can go to menu > settings > applications and remove the application

The APN settings may be locked. To change it you may have to unlock the phone. Who is your carrier?

I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me how to totally delete these silly weather updates. I did remove it but now they have appeared and constantly suck my data

Another thing is, how do I delete my carriers APN?
