Recently had to deal with this. I reformatted one of my PC's and despite backing up my itunes storage, it did NOT back up songs that I had on itunes that were not purchased through apple (pain in the @#$).

Best way to do this is to make sure you backup the entire directory from files rather than using the standard apple backup for itunes.

I think iTunes can help you transfer iPhone music to pc. The steps are as followed:
Connect the iPhone to your computer and select it on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes, and then use the Music tab on the right-hand side to select and sync the music that you want to computer.

1. Install and Launch SynciOS Manager on your computer.
2. Connect your iPhone to the computer.
3. Copy Music from your iPhone 4s/5/5s/6/6 Plus to computer
4. Export music from your iPhone 4S, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 to computer.

I have tried several third party softwere for this transformation because iTunes do not transfer songs from iPhone to computer. But, unfortunately I have failed. Because all this third party softwere are not free. All of them are trial version. I was able to transfer 15-40 songs. I never consider the jailbreaking policy. Think I should try it, and you too.

Method 1 :
1. The direction of connect your iPhone to the computer.
2. When the windows autoplay comes up?t, choose the option"Importing images and videos". This option automatically transfers all the photos and videos on your device to a folder on your PC. By default, these videos will be transferred to the My pictures folder. If the dialog window does not appear?does not open automatically, you will need to go to the second method to transfer iphone music to pc
Method 2 :
1. Connect your iPhone to your computer via the standard USB cable.
2. Click on the computer option in the Start menu.
3. If c is the first time you have connected your iPhone 5s, you may have to wait for the different installations of the drivers and the software to pay the installer. Your iPhone should appear?err as a removable storage device. Right-click on the icon on the Apple iPhone and select the photos and videos that you want to copy.

If you've already put music on your iTunes, you just need to connect your iPhone to computer, and start iTunes to click "Sync" and then iTunes will automatically sync your iPhone with iTunes.
