    Clear App Data and Cache:

NOTE: if one of your applications isn't working as intended, then you might be able to fix these issues by clearing the app's cache or data.

WARNING! Clearing an app's data will result in the deletion of all personal data stored within the app, including saved games, settings, login and credit card information etc. As such, it's recommended that you first try to fix these issues by clearing the app's cache.

    1. Tap "Apps" while on the home screen
    2. Go to "Settings" and swipe to "Device"
    3. Tap "Applications" and access the "All" screen
    4. Select the desired app
    5. Tap "Clear cache"
    6. If clearing the cache hasn't solved the problems, tap "Clear data" and press "OK"

    Wipe the Phone's Cache Partition:

NOTE: Assuming that your phone is not working correctly and you're considering master resetting it, then you could try fixing these problems by first wiping the cache partition. Unlike a master reset, clearing the cache will not result in the removal of personal data stored on your phone. To wipe the cache partition:

    1. Turn off the smartphone
    2. Press and hold the "Power" and "Volume Up" buttons at the same time
    3. When the menu screen appears, release both keys
    4. Press "Volume down" to highlight "Recovery" and press "Power" to select the option
    5. Navigate to "Wipe data / factory reset" using the "Volume down" button
    6. Press "Power" to select the highlighted option
    7. Press "Volume Down" to highlight "wipe cache partition" and press "Power"
    8. The phone will wipe the cache and "Reboot system now" will be selected
    9. Press "Power" and wait for your phone to reboot

NOTE: If wiping the cache partition didn't help, then you might want to reset your phone. To find out how you can master reset the Alcatel OneTouch Fierce 2, follow the link

    Rebooting in Safe Mode:

NOTE: If you wish to remove a problematic app from your phone but the app prevents you from doing so, then you can easily dispose of it by first rebooting your device in Safe Mode. In this mode, all third party apps are disabled, so no background process can prevent you from uninstalling third party apps. To reboot in safe mode:

    1. Press and hold the "Power" button
    2. At the prompt, tap and hold the "Power off" option
    3. Tap "OK" when asked about rebooting to safe mode
    4. Once the phone restarts, a "Safe Mode" label should be visible in the lower-left side of the screen
    5. To remove an app, tap "Apps" from the home screen
    6. Tap "Settings" and swipe to "Device"
    7. Tap "Applications" and go to the "All" screen
    8. Select the app you wish to remove and tap "Uninstall" > "OK"
