straight talk is horrible. the phones don't work and you will play hell trying to get a refund. customer support is useless. they are all from different countries and cant speak English. they cant help and you will be dissatisfied. just pay the little extra money and go with Verizon or at&t.

Wait, you had them deactivate your phone and they couldn't do anything about what?

I HIGHLY advise you not to invest in Straight Talk. I have had so much trouble in the last year and Customer/Tech Support was definitely NOT HELPFUL in the least bit.
And aside from that, on a whim they can decide to discontinue service and refuse to reactivate your phone or refund your money. I had them deactivate my phone after just 24 hours of having the service, and then told me they couldn't do anything about it.
AT&T or Verizon would be a much smarter, safer, and overall cheaper option. TRUST ME.
