I would like to block a message from an email, but I can only choose to add phone numbers to "spam numbers."

How do you block an email from texting you?

when i go to call forwarding I find "forward when unreachable" tab inactive.. what should I do?

i went.....to.... Phone...to...More ( upper right )....to.....Settings....to....Call Rejection....to.....Auto Reject List...to....Log....to.....(number i wanted blocked)...to.... +. Hope this helps.

NONe of the instructions work on this form regarding Blacklisting or Blocking phone numbers on the new Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime with Cricket as my carrier!

My Galaxy grand prime (model no SM-G530H) dones not even have a call rejection feature in settings.. just add/edit rejection message, so no auto reject list.. is there any way that I can block unwanted calls then?? Plz help

Call Forwarding

Forwarding All Calls (Unconditional):

1. While on the home screen, tap "Phone"
2. Access the "Keypad" or "Logs" screen and press "Menu"
3. Tap "Settings" > "Call"
4. Tap "Additional settings"
5. Tap "Call forwarding" > "Always forward"
6. Enter the phone number you want to forward calls to
7. Tap "Turn on"

Forward Some Calls Only (Conditional):

1. Launch the "Phone" application
2. Go to the "Logs" screen
3. Press "Menu" and tap "Settings"
4. Tap "Call" > "Additional settings"
5. Tap "Call forwarding" and select to "Forward when busy", "Forward when unanswered" or "Forward when unreachable"
6. If necessary, enter or edit the phone number you wish to forward calls to and tap "Update"

Cancel Call Forwarding:

1. Launch the "Phone" app
2. Rom the "Keypad" or "Logs" screen, press "Menu"
3. Go to "Settings" and tap "Call" > "Additional settings"
4. Tap "Call forwarding" > "Always forward"
5. Tap "Turn off"

Call Blocking

Blocking Calls from a Number:

1. While on the home screen, tap "Phone"
2. Access the "Logs" screen and press "Menu"
3. Tap "Settings" > "Call"
4. Tap "Call rejection" and select "Auto reject list"
5. Tap "Create" and then tap the "Contacts" icon
   
   • To enter and block a number manually:
     
     1. Enter the phone number
     2. Make sure the "Exact the same as" option is enabled, otherwise you can select a different option such as "Starts with" in order to block calls from a specific network or area code etc.
     3. Tap "Save"
   • To block contacts or a number from the call logs:
     
     1. Launch the "Contacts" application
     2. Go to "Contacts" or "Logs"
     3. Select the phone number you want to block
     4. Tap "Save"

Unblocking a Number:

1. Launch the "Phone" application
2. Go to the "Logs" screen and press "Menu"
3. Tap "Settings" > "Call"
4. Tap "Call rejection" > "Auto reject list"
   
   • To allow calls but keep the number in the block list: clear the check box associated with the desired number
   • To allow calls and remove the number from the block list: tap the "Trash can" icon, tap the number and then touch "Done"

Message Blocking

Blocking Messages From Settings:

1. Open the "Messages" application
2. Press "Menu" and then tap "Settings"
3. Mark the "Spam filter" check box
4. Tap "Add to spam numbers" and tap the "+" sign
5. Enter the number you want to block, or select the number from the contact list
6. Tap "Save"

Blocking SMS / MMS from a Message:

1. Launch the "Message" Application
2. Tap and hold the message thread containing the phone number you want to block
3. Press "Menu" and then tap "Add to spam numbers"
4. Tap "OK" to confirm

Unblocking Messages via the Settings Menu:

1. Launch the "Messages" application
2. Press "Menu" and tap "Settings"
3. Tap "Spam filter" and then tap "Add to spam numbers"
4. Tap and hold the number you want to unblock
5. Tap "Delete" > "OK"

Unblocking from a Message:

1. Launch the "messages" app
2. Tap and hold the conversation thread containing the phone number you want to unblock
3. Touch the "Menu" icon located in the upper-right corner of the screen
4. Tap "Remove form spam numbers" and tap "OK" to confirm
