iTunes is too complex for me to transfer contacts from iPhone to Hydro XTRM. I would prefer this one - TransPhone Phone Transfer. It allow us to transfer all data between iOS and Android with easy steps. Just download and launch the software on PC. And choose the contacts that you want. And that's it.

    Using iTunes to Transfer Contacts:

As long as you have iTunes installed on a computer, you can use the software in order to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then, you can transfer the contacts over to your Hydro XTRM. All the synced contacts come with additional information, the contact image, email etc.

    1. Open iTunes on your desktop computer
    2. Use the proprietary USB cable to connect your iPhone to your PC
    3. Once connected, the iPhone will appear in iTunes. Click on it and you'll get to the summary page
    4. Go to the "Info" tab
    5. Mark the check box next to "Sync Contacts With" and choose "Google Contacts" from the drop-down list
    6. Enter your Google account log in details, assuming that you haven't added a Google account before. Otherwise, you can click "Configure" and select an existing account
    7. Click "Apply" and iTunes will start syncing your iPhone contacts with your Google account
    8. On your Hydro XTRM, register the same account and allow it to sync the contacts with your smartphone. NOTE: if you need to add the account, go to "Settings" > "Accounts"

    Using iCloud to Transfer Contacts:

In case you've made use of the iCloud service on your iPhone before, then your contacts should have already been backed up on your iCloud account. By accessing the service, you can export these contacts to your Android device in the form of a VCF file.

    1. On your computer, open the Internet browser and visit https://www.icloud.com/
    2. Click "Contacts"
    3. From the list of contacts, choose the ones that you wish to export
    4. Click the icon depicting a cog wheel, located in the bottom-left corner
    5. Select "Export vCard" and your computer will start downloading a VCF file
    6. Once downloaded, you can perform one of the following:
      • Import the VCF file to "Google Contacts"
      • Connect your Kyocera Hydro XTRM to your computer via USB. Copy the vCard file to the "sdcard" directory and then open the "People" app, tap "Menu" > "Import / Export" > "Import from SD card". Then, select where you want to import the contacts, select the desired contacts (or tap "Select all"), tap "Import" > "Yes"

Using the "My Contacts Backup" Application to Transfer Contacts:

My Contacts Backup is an iOS application that gives you the option to transfer contacts from your iPhone to an Android device via email. To use this method, you don't need access to a computer.

    1. Visit the App Store and download "My Contacts Backup" on your iPhone
    2. Once installed, launch the app and press "Backup". This will create a VCF file containing your iPhone contacts
    3. After the backup is complete, tap "Email" and the VCF file will be attached to it
    4. Enter your Gmail address as the email's recipient
    5. Send the email
    6. Switch over to the Hydro XTRM and open the email. Then, download the VCF file and import the contacts to your device using the "People" app

Using the "Bump" Application to Transfer iPhone Contacts:

Bump is an iOS and Android application that can transfer contacts through the cloud. There's no need for a computer for this approach, but you do need an active Internet connection on both smartphones

    1. Open the App Store on your iPhone and install "Bump"
    2. On your Android device, go to the Google Play Store and download the same application
    3. Open the application on both devices, and allow permissions when prompted
    4. Pick up the iPhone and swipe to the contacts section
    5. From the list of contacts, choose the ones that you want to share
    6. After the "Bump now!" label appears in the top-right corner, you can lightly bump the two smartphones together
    7. If done right, a "Connect" button will pop-up on both smartphones' screens. Tap it
    8. Your iPhone contacts should now be transferred over to the Hydro XTRM via cloud
