Manage Contacts

Add a New Contact:

1. Launch the "Contacts" app
2. From the "Contacts" tab, tap the "+" button
3. Choose the location where the contact should be added. You can select "Device", "SIM card", "Google" or "Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync"
4. Type in the contact's name and phone number in the appropriate fields
5. Optionally add more information such as email address etc.
6. When ready, tap "Save"

Import / Export Contacts from the SIM:

1. Launch "Contacts"
2. Access the "Contacts" tab
3. Press "Menu" > "Settings" > "Contacts"
4. Tap "Import / Export" and perform one of the following:
   
   • To export contacts to the SIM card:
     
     1. Tap "Export to SIM card"
     2. Choose the contacts you wish to export or tap "Select all"
     3. Tap "Done" > "OK"
   • To import contacts from the SIM card:
     
     1. Tap "Import from SIM card"
     2. Choose the desired account to import the contacts
     3. Select the contacts you want to import or tap "Select all"
     4. Tap "Done"

Import / Export Contacts from the SD Card:

1. Launch the "Contacts" app and access the "Contacts" tab
2. Press "Menu" > "Settings"
3. Tap "Contacts" > "Import / Export"
4. Follow one of the instruction sets below:
   
   • To import contacts:
     
     1. Tap "Import from SD card"
     2. Select a location for the contacts
     3. Tap "Import vCard file", "Import multiple vCard files" or "Import all vCard files"
     4. Tap "OK"
     5. If necessary, select the desired vCard file and tap "OK"
   • To export contacts:
     
     1. Tap "Export to SD card"
     2. Press "OK"

Add a Contact to Speed Dial:

1. From the home screen, tap "Phone"
2. Tap the "Keypad" tab
3. Press "Menu" > "Speed dial"
4. Select the number you want to use for speed dialing
5. Choose the contact you want to associate with the speed dial number

Delete Contacts:

1. Launch "Contacts" and access the "Contacts" tab
2. Press "Menu"
3. Tap "Delete"
4. Mark the check box associated with the contacts you want to remove
5. Tap "Done" > "OK"

Manage Groups

Create a New Caller Group:

1. Tap "Contacts" on the home screen
2. Below "Favorites", tap the "Groups" icon
3. Tap "Create" and name your group
4. Tap "Add member" and select the contacts you wish to add to the group
5. Tap "Done" > "Save"

Add a Contact to an Existing Caller Group:

1. Launch "Contacts" and access the "Groups" tab
2. Select the group you wish to add contacts to
3. Tap "+" and mark the check boxes next to the contacts you want to add
4. Tap "Done"
