    NOTE: To learn how to back up your data on the LG Escape 2, follow this link for a full guide.

    Restore Applications:

    1. Tap “Apps” from the home screen
    2. Access “Settings”
    3. Under “Personal” tap “Backup & reset”
    4. Ensure the “Automatic restore” option is checked

    Restore Contacts:

    1. Go to the phone’s “Settings” menu
    2. Swipe to “Personal” and tap “Backup & reset”
    3. Tap “LG Backup service” > “File restore & Management”
    4. Locate the backup file you want to restore and tap “Next”
    5. Tap “Start” and wait for the process to complete. NOTE: it may take several minutes
    6. When the “Restored” message pops-up, tap “Done"
    7. Your smartphone will now reboot and your contacts should be restored

    Restore Data from the SD Card:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Go to “Settings”
    3. Tap “Backup & reset” under “Personal”
    4. Tap “LG Backup service” > “File restore & management”
    5. Navigate to and select the backup file you want to restore
    6. Tap “Next” > “Start”
    7. Tap “Done” when the “Restore” message appears
    8. Your device will now reboot with all the selected data restored

    Restore Media Files from a Windows Computer:

    1. Establish a USB connection between the LG Escape 2 and your computer
    2. If / when prompted, tap “Media sync (MTP)”, otherwise enable this option from the notification area
    3. From the AutoPlay window on the computer select to browse the phone’s files and folders, then locate the directory where the files should be restored
    4. Open a second Windows Explorer window on the computer and locate the backup
    5. Copy the media files and transfer them on your phone
    6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage by clicking the “Mass Storage Device” icon located in the system tray and disconnect the device from the PC

    Restore Media Files From the Smartphone:

    1. From the phone’s “Settings” menu, swipe to “Personal”
    2. Tap “Backup & reset” > “LG Backup service”
    3. Tap “File restore & management” and locate the files you want to restore
    4. Select the files and tap “Next” > “Start”
    5. Once the transfer is done, tap “Done” and wait for your device to reboot
