I have this new Samsung Galaxy Express which works nicely providing I am outside my house. I've been looking at numerous possibilities to get coms with the outside world without success. I did find on the internet that there are various antennas and all sorts of repeaters that may be an option. The best and cheapest is the antenna which could be either omnidirectional or directional. They did say that the antenna could be plugged into an antenna port on the phone. The question is, does my phone have the appropriate port and if so, would this be an appropriate fix. If this falls into the too hard basket, can you recommend any other alternative?
