A quick search in Google and I got the following solution:

Go into iTunes, click on your iPhone in the under devices section on the left hand side.
Then you will see all the options for configuring your Pphone on the right of the screen.
Select 'info' (after summary) and check the box "sync contacts with" and then choose google contacts.

No. But you can try a program called Android SMS to iPhone Transfer.

are all the contacts synced up with your gmail account. if so just add the gmail account on the iphone and all yoru contacts will also be there if you select to sync contacts.
You can take it to a phone transfer place and have them transfer contacts from Android to iPhone right now.
Hopefully you do it often and wont lose many of the new ones.

    Hey there,

I have been using a Motorola Defy for the past year, and liked it very much, but I am getting an iPhone 4s now, because I am moving abroad. I intend to use my iPhone for the next two months in my old home, then transfer the SIM card back into the Motorola and take it with me.

So my question is: is there a way to transfer my contacts from my Android to the iPhone? I am using a PC with Win7.

and the other question: any chance of being able to transfer my SMS? Have used SMS Backup and Restore to save them on my SD Card, but I guess it might be a bit more complicated than just transferring the SD card, could that be?

Any help would be highly appreciated. THanks!
