Manage Contacts

Add a Contact:

1. Launch the “Contacts” app
2. Tap “+”
3. Select to store the contact on the “Phone”, “Google” or ‘SIM”
4. Type in the contact’s phone number and name in the appropriate fields
5. Add any other bits of information you see fit, and tap “Save” when ready

Import Contacts from SIM:

1. Open “Contacts”
2. Press “Menu” > “Manage Contacts”
3. Tap “Import / Export” > “Import from SIM card”
4. Choose to “Save contact to” “Google” or “Phone”
5. Select the contacts you want to import or tap “Select all”
6. Enter a name for the backup file and tap “Import” > “Yes”

Export Contacts to SIM:

1. Launch “Contacts”
2. Press “Menu” > “Manage Contacts”
3. Tap “Import / Export” > “Export to SIM card”
4. Under “Save contacts to” select “Google” or “Phone”
5. Select the contacts you want to export or tap “Select all”
6. Tap “Export” > “Yes”

Assign a Contact to Speed Dial:

1. From the “Phone” application, access the “Dial” tab
2. Press “menu” > “Speed dial”
3. Select the dial pad number you wish to use for speed dialing
4. Select the contact you want to associate with the aforementioned dial pad number

Delete Contacts:

1. Open “Contacts”
2. Tap and hold the contact you want to delete
3. Tap “Delete contact” > “Yes”

Caller Group Management

Create a Caller Group:

1. Launch “Contacts” and access “Groups”
2. Press “Menu” > “New group”
3. Enter the group’s name in the “New Group” field
4. To add members to the group tap “+”, select the desired contacts and tap “Add”
5. When ready, tap “Save’

Add Contacts to an Existing Caller Group:

1. Open “Contacts”
2. From the “Groups” tab, select the desired group
3. Press “Menu” > “Edit group” > “Add members”
4. Select the contacts you want to add, and tap “Add” to confirm
