    Transfer Audio Files

    From a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Galaxy V to your computer via USB
    2. If necessary swipe the “Status” bar down and tap “Connected as a media deice” > “Media device (MTP)”
    3. In the AutoPlay window on the computer click “Open device to view files using Windows Explorer”
    4. Launch a second Windows Explorer window and locate the audio files stored on your PC
    5. Copy the desired files and transfer them onto your phone storage - preferably in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications" folder(s)
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect it from the PC

    From a Mac:

    NOTE: If you already have Kies installed on your Mac then skip the first 2 steps

    1. On your Mac, navigate to Kies
    2. Click “Download for Mac OS” and follow the on-screen prompts to install Kies on the Mac
    3. Connect the Galaxy V to your Mac via USB
    4. Swipe the “Status” bar down and tap “Connected as a media device” > “Media device (MTP)”
    5. Launch Kies on the Mac and click the “Folder” icon associated with “Internal” or “External memory”
    6. In Kies navigate to where you wish to transfer the audio files
    7. Locate the desired files on the computer, and drag > drop them in Kies
    8. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and disconnect it from the Mac

    Add Music to the Ringtone List:

    1. Press “Menu” on the home screen
    2. Go to “Settings” and under “My Device”, tap “Sound”
    3. Tap “Ringtones” > “Add”
    4. Select either “Sound picker” or “Choose music track”
    5. Tap “Always” or “Just once”
    6. Select the desired audio file and tap “OK”

    Add Audio Files to the Notification List:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Launch “My Files” > “All files”
    3. Navigate to the desired audio files
    4. Tap and hold a file and select “Copy”
    5. Tap “Device storage” and select the “Notifications” folder
    6. Tap “Paste here”

    Set Custom Ringtones & Notification Sounds

    Change the Phone’s Ringtone:

    1. Press “Menu” on the home screen
    2. Go to “Settings”
    3. Access the “My device” tab and tap “Sound”
    4. Tap “Ringtones”, select a ringtone and tap “OK”

    Set a Custom Ringtone to a Specific Contact:

    NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts stored on the phone memory or the SIM card.
    1. Launch “Contacts” and select the desired contact
    2. Tap the “Edit” icon depicting a pencil
    3. Tap “Ringtone”
    4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
    5. Tap “Save”

    Change the Notifications Sound:

    1. Press “Menu” from the home screen and go to “Settings”
    2. Access the “My device” tab
    3. Tap “Sound” > “Notifications”
    4. Select the desired notification sound and tap “OK” to confirm
