Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the LG Tribute 2 to your computer via USB
    2. When prompted, tap “Media sync (MTP)”, otherwise enable the option from the notification area
    3. In the AutoPlay window that should pop-up on the computer, click “Open device to view files” > “OK”
    4. Open a second Windows Explorer window and locate the desired audio files on your PC
    5. Copy the files, and transfer them to the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications” folders
    6. Once the transfer is complete, click “Safely Remove Hardware” in the system tray
    7. Click “Safely Remove Mass Storage Device” > “OK”
    8. It’s now safe to disconnect your phone form the computer

    Change the Phone’s Ringtone:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Access “Settings”
    3. Tap the “Sound & notification” tab
    4. Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
    5. Tap “OK” to confirm

    Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts that are stored on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.

    1. Launch the “Contacts” app
    2. Select the desired contact
    3. Tap the “Edit” button shaped like a pencil
    4. Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
    5. Tap “OK” to confirm

    Change the Notification Sound:

    1. Go to the phone’s “Settings” menu
    2. Tap “Sound & notification”
    3. Swipe to “Advanced Settings” and tap “More”
    4. Tap “Notification sound”
    5. Select the desired sound and tap “OK”
