    View the Amount of SD Card Storage:

    1. Tap “Apps”
    2. Go to “Settings” and swipe to “Device”
    3. Tap “Storage” and view the available values under “SD Card”

    Format the SD Card:

    WARNING! Formatting the SD card will remove all data stored on it. If necessary back up your data before proceeding.

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Go to “Settings”
    3. Under “Device” tap “Storage”
    4. Swipe to “SD Card” and tap “Format (erase) SD card”
    5. Tap “Erase SD card”
    6. Tap “Erase everything” to confirm

    Change the Default Storage Location for Apps:

    NOTE: Your pre-loaded applications will use the internal memory to store data by default. You can change this option to use the SD card instead

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Tap “Settings”
    3. Swipe to “Device” and tap “Storage”
    4. Under “Default write disk”, select “SD Card”

    Transfer Files from the Internal Storage to the SD Card:

    1. Tap “Apps”
    2. Launch “File Manager”
    3. Tap “Phone storage”
    4. Swipe to “Phone”
    5. Locate the files you want to move
    6. Tap “Options” > “Select”
    7. Mark the files you want to transfer or tap “Select all”
    8. Tap “Options” > “Copy selected” or “Move selected” to avoid creating duplicates
    9. Swipe to and tap “SD card” > “Open”
    10. Navigate to the desired location to transfer the files and tap “Options” > “Select”

    Open or Delete SD Card Files Using the Smartphone:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Launch “File Manger”
    3. Tap “SD card” and navigate to the desired files
    4. Select a file, and tap it again to open it
    5. To remove a file, make sure it’s selected and tap the “trash can” icon (when prompted with “Deleted selected item?”, tap “OK”)

    Open or Delete Files via a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Alcatel OneTouch Pop Mega to your PC via USB
    2. From the AutoPlay window, double-click to “Open device to view files”
    3. Locate the desired files in the SD card directory
    4. Open or delete the files at your leisure
    5. When done, eject the phone storage from the system tray and safely disconnect the device from the computer
