WARNING! Master resetting your smartphone will result in the deletion of all the personal data stored on your phone's internal memory (including custom ringtones, contacts, apps, images, downloaded content etc.), and it will return the smartphone's settings to factory values. Data stored on the SIM and SD cards will not be affected.

NOTE: In case you need to back up your data before applying the factory reset, visit this link for a full guide. To learn how to restore data on the Galaxy Ace Style, visit this link.

Master Resetting From the Settings Menu:

    1. Press the "Menu" button while viewing the home screen
    2. Tap "Settings"
    3. Access the "Accounts" tab
    4. Under "Backup options", select "Backup and reset"
    5. Optionally, clear the check boxes next to "Automatic restore" and "Back up my data"
    6. Tap "Factory data reset" > "Reset device"
    7. Assuming that you've set a screen lock for the device, type in your password or PIN and tap "Continue"
    8. Tap "Delete all"

Master Resetting Using Hardware Buttons (via Recovery Menu):

NOTE: Use this method of factory reset if you are unable to reset your smartphone using the method above (through the settings menu).

    1. Turn off the smartphone
    2. Press and hold the "Volume Up", "Home" and "Power" buttons at the same time
    3. After the phone vibrates, release the "Power" key but keep pressing the other two buttons
    4. At the "Android System Recovery" screen, release all hardware keys
    5. From the recovery menu, press the "Volume down" button to navigate to and highlight "wipe data / factory reset"
    6. Press the "Power" key to select the option
    7. Press the "Volume down" button and highlight "delete all user data"
    8. Press "Power" to select the option and apply the factory reset
    9. Once the smartphone has been reset, the "Reboot system now" option will be highlighted
    10. Press the "Power" key to reboot your device
