    The 5 doesn't have the option like other notes. UGH what happened Samsung? Anyways the Note 5 does have a blacklist. So you will not receive any kind of messages from the person you do not want to hear from. HOWEVER I CAUTION you be careful who you black list because you can't take the person off once they are on. Or at least I have not been able to figure out how yet. In order to see if the person texted you will have to go to their contact and keep going to the contact to see any text.

    I can't find spam filter in my galaxy note 5!! i just have the option "block messages" but i can't block a message that has no number!! HELP PLEASE!!!

    Block Calls:

    1. Tap “Phone” on the home screen
    2. From the “Keypad” or “Logs” screen, tap “Menu”
    3. Go to “Settings”
    4. Tap “Call” > “Call rejection”
    5. Tap “Auto reject list”
    6. Tap “Create”
    7. Tap the “Contacts” icon
    8. To manually enter and block a number:
      1. Write the phone number
      2. Optionally, select a match criteria, otherwise make sure “Exactly the same as” is enabled
      3. Tap “Save”
    9. To block a number from contacts:
      1. Tap the “Contacts” icon
      2. Tap “Contacts” or “Logs”
      3. Select the number you want to block
      4. Tap “Save”

    Unblock a Number:

    1. Tap “Phone” on the home screen
    2. Press “Menu” on the “Logs” or “Keypad” screen
    3. Tap “Settings” > “Call”
    4. Tap “Call rejection” > “Auto reject list”
    5. To allow calls but keep the number in the block list, clear the check box associated with the desired number
    6. To allow calls and remove the number from the block list:
      1. Tap the “Trash can” icon
      2. Mark the check boxes associated with the number you want to block
      3. Tap “Done”

    Block Messages:

    1. Tap “Messages” on the home screen
    2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
    3. Enable “Spam filter”
    4. Tap “Add to spam numbers”
    5. Tap “+” and enter the phone number to block, or select a contact
    6. Tap “Save”

    Unblock Messages:

    1. Launch “Messages”
    2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
    3. Select the “Spam filter” check box
    4. Tap “Add to spam numbers”
    5. Tap and hold the number you want to unblock and tap “Delete”
    6. Tap “OK”

    NOTE: You can also unblock messages from a conversation thread by tapping and holding it, and selecting “Remove from spam”
    Forward All Calls:

    1. Tap “Phone” on the home screen
    2. Access the “Keypad” or “Logs” screen
    3. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
    4. Tap “Call” > “Additional settings”
    5. Tap “Call forwarding” > “Always forward”
    6. Select the phone number you want to forward calls to
    7. Tap “Turn on”

    Forward Some Calls Only (Conditional Forwarding):

    1. Launch the “Phone” app
    2. Tap “Menu” on the “Keypad” or “Logs” screen
    3. Tap “Settings” > “Call”
    4. Tap “Additional settings” > “Call forwarding”
    5. Select to “Forward when busy”, “Forward when unanswered”, or “Forward when unreachable”
    6. Enter the phone number you want to forward calls to
    7. Tap “Update”

    Cancel Call Forwarding:

    1. Open “Phone”
    2. Press “Menu” while on the “Logs” or “Keypad” screen
    3. Go to “Settings” > “Call” > “Additional settings”
    4. Tap “Call forwarding” > “Always forward”
    5. Tap “Turn off”
