    Enable Battery Saving Mode:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Go to “Settings”
    3. Under “System”, tap “Power saving”
    4. Tap the “Power Saving mode” slider and set it to “ON”
    5. For more options on how Power Saving works, enable / disable “Block background data”, “Grayscale mode”, “Restrict performance”

    Enable Ultra Power Saving Mode:

    1. Go to “Settings”
    2. Under “System” tap “Power saving”
    3. Tap “Ultra Power saving mode” and set the switch to “ON”
    4. You can adjust the feature and add more apps that will work under Ultra Power Saving, including “Messages”, “Phone”, “Internet” etc. Tap “+” to add more apps

    Adjust the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Access “Settings”
    3. Under “Quick Settings” tap “Display”
    4. Tap “Brightness” and clear the “Automatic brightness” option
    5. Drag the brightness slider to the left and tap “OK”
    6. On the “Display” menu, tap “Screen timeout”
    7. Select a lower value, such as “15 seconds”

    Disable Wi-Fi, Hotspot, GPS, and Bluetooth:

    NOTE: You can improve your phone’s battery life by disabling all connectivity features when they are not in use, including Wi-Fi, Hotspot, Bluetooth, and GPS.

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Access “Settings”
    3. Swipe to “Network Connections”
    4. Tap “Tethering & Mobile Hotspot”
    5. Tap the switch associated with “Hotspot” and set it to “OFF”
    6. Return to the home screen and drag the “Status” bar down
    7. Tap the “Wi-Fi”, “Location”, and “Bluetooth” tiles to disable these options

    Switch from 4G to 2G:

    1. Go to “Settings”
    2. Swipe to “Network Connections”
    3. Tap “More networks” > “Mobile networks”
    4. Tap “Network mode”
    5. Tap “GSM only” to restrict connectivity to 2G

    Disable Background Data:

    1. Access the “Settings” screen
    2. Swipe to “Network Connections” and tap “Data usage”
    3. Tap “Menu” > “Restrict background data”

    Change App / Account Sync Settings:

    NOTE: You can prolong your phone’s battery autonomy by setting your accounts to sync less data.

    1. Access the “Settings” menu
    2. Under “User and Backup”, tap “Accounts”
    3. Tap the “Accounts” tab
    4. Select the desired account and tap to adjust the available sync settings
    5. You can access more sync settings by tapping the “user name” or “email address” at the top of the screen

    Minimize the Use of Third Party Apps:

    NOTE: Certain third party applications can affect battery life even when you don’t use them – assuming they run regular processes in the background. You can improve battery life by disabling or uninstalling third party apps you don’t use.

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Access “Settings”
    3. Swipe to “Applications”
    4. Tap “Application manager”
    5. Go to the “Downloaded” tab
    6. Select the desired application
    7. Tap “Disable”, or tap “Uninstall” to remove it
