    Back Up Data:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Go to “Settings”
    3. Swipe to “Personal” and tap “Backup & reset”
    4. To store your account data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to your Google account, enable “Back up my data”
    5. To restore data automatically upon reinstalling apps, make sure “Automatic restore” is enabled

    NOTE: App data will be automatically restored when you sign in on your phone with your Google account.

    Back Up Contacts:

    1. Access the “Settings” menu
    2. Tap “Accounts” and select an account type
    3. Tap “Menu” > “Sync now”. Your contacts will be backed up / synced with the selected account

    NOTE: Contacts will be automatically restored the next time you log in with your Account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the ZTE Blade D6 to your computer via USB
    2. Drag the “Status” bar down and make sure “Media device (MTP)” is enabled
    3. From the AutoPlay window on the computer, click to browse the phone’s files and folders
    4. Locate the media files on your phone and copy them
    5. Transfer the files in the desired backup location on your computer
    6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray and disconnect the device from the USB connector

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Establish a USB connection between the ZTE Blade D6 and computer
    2. Make sure the phone is connected as a “Media device (MTP)”
    3. From the AutoPlay window on the computer, click to browse the phone’s files and folders
    4. Launch a second Explorer window and locate the media files backed up on your PC
    5. Transfer the files in the first Explorer window on your phone, preferably in the “Media” directory
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the smartphone from the PC
