Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access you can sync the contacts on your iPhone with your Google account. Then you can sync the contacts from your account with the LG Spirit.

1. Launch iTunes on the computer
2. Establish a USB connection between the iPhone and computer
3. Once it connects, click the iPhone in iTunes to view the summary page
4. Access the “Info” tab and enable “Sync Contacts With”
5. In the drop-down menu, select “Google Contacts”
6. In iTunes, register your Google account or click “Configure” and select an account if available
7. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
8. After the process is complete, register the same Google account on the LG Spirit, and allow it to sync contacts

Using iCloud:

NOTE: In case you have used the iCloud backup service on your iPhone before then your contacts should already be backed up on your iCloud account (if not, do so). By accessing your account you can export the contacts as a vCard file for Android use.

1. Open the Internet browser on your computer
2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
3. Sign in with your iCloud account
4. In iCloud, access “Contacts”
5. Select the contacts you want to share
6. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
7. Wait for the vCard file to be downloaded on the computer and then import it to “Google Contacts”
8. Alternatively, skip the last step above and instead, connect the LG Spirit to your computer via USB and transfer the vCard file to the phone storage yourself. Then use the “Contacts” app and the “Import” option to add the vCard’s contents to the phonebook

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the two methods above require access to a computer, you can also transfer your contacts without one by using third party applications instead. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up iPhone contacts as a vCard file, and export them via email.

1. Visit the App Store and install “My Contacts Backup” on your iPhone
2. Open the application
3. Tap “Backup” to create a backup of all your contacts
4. Once the file is created, tap “Email”
5. Compose a new email containing the vCard file as an attachment
6. Send the email to your own address
7. Switch to the LG Spirit and open the email to download the attached vCard file
8. Import the file’s contents to your phonebook using the “Contacts” app and “Import” function

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Another third party app you can use is “Send Anywhere” (on both iOS and Android). The application uses a p2p connection to transfer contacts and other types of files without requiring a computer.

1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on your iPhone
2. Install the same app on the LG Spirit via the Google Play Store
3. Open the application on both smartphones
4. On the sender device (the iPhone), tap “Send” > “Contacts”
5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
6. Lastly, select a transfer method. Tapping “Generate QR Code” on the iPhone allows you to start the sync by scanning the code with the LG Spirit’s camera. You can also tap “Receive” on the LG and enter the transfer code from the iPhone to start the transfer
