    WARNING! When you factory reset your phone, all the personal data stored on the device’s internal memory will be deleted. This includes contacts, downloaded content, media files, applications etc. Furthermore all settings will be restored to factory values. Data stored on the SIM and SD cards will not be affected.

    NOTE: You can visit this thread to learn how you can back up data on the BLU before proceeding.

    Factory Reset via Settings:

    1. On the Start screen, swipe left
    2. From “applications”, open “Settings
    3. Tap “about” > “reset your phone
    4. At the warning pop-up, tap “Yes
    5. Tap “Yes” again to confirm and proceed with the reset

    Factory Reset using Hardware Buttons:

    NOTE: If you are unable to reset the phone using the method above, you can try resetting it using the following steps instead:

    1. Turn off the smartphone
    2. Press and hold “Volume Down”, then press “Power” to turn the phone on
    3. After the phone vibrates, release the “Power” button (keep holding “Volume Down”)
    4. Once the phone displays an exclamation mark, release all hardware buttons
    5. Perform the following sequence:
      • Press “Volume Up” > “Volume Down” > “Power” > “Volume Down
    6. The phone should now reset. The process may take several minutes, and during the process you should see two rotating gears on the screen

    Check for Software Updates:

    NOTE: After a factory reset you should check of newer software updates are available for download. To do so:

    1. Swipe left on the Start screen
    2. Tap “Settings” > “About
    3. Tap “More info
    4. Check the “Firmware version number
    5. Verify whether a new update is available. If yes, follow the on-screen prompts to download and apply it
