    Clear App Cache / Data:

NOTE: If one of your applications doesn’t work as it should then you might be able to fix the issues by clearing the app’s cache / data.

WARNING! When you clear the app’s data, all the personal information stored within the app will be removed (including credit card and login information, saved games, high scores, profiles etc.). To avoid this, first try fixing the issues by clearing the app’s cache.

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Access “Settings”
    3. Go to the “General” tab and scroll to “Phone Management”
    4. Tap “Apps” and access the “All” tab
    5. Select the desired app and tap “Clear cache”
    6. If necessary, tap “Clear data” > “Yes”

    Wipe the Cache Partition:

NOTE: In case your phone doesn’t work as intended and you’re thinking about master resetting it, you might want to try solving the issues by clearing the cache partition. Doing so can result in similar beneficial effects as if you were factory resetting the device, without losing any personal data stored on the internal memory.

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Access “Settings”
    3. Under “Phone management”, tap “Storage”
    4. View the “Cached data” (wait for the phone to finish calculating, if necessary)
    5. Tap “Cached data” > “Yes” to wipe the cache

NOTE: If wiping the cached data didn’t help, visit this thread for a guide on how to factory reset the LG Class.

Reboot in Safe Mode and Uninstall an App:

NOTE: If you have installed a third party application that prevents you from removing it, you should be able to easily uninstall it by rebooting the device in Safe Mode. In Safe Mode, third party app support is disabled.

    1. With the device turned on, press and hold “Power”
    2. From the pop-up, tap and hold “Power off”
    3. Tap “OK” when prompted to “Restart in Safe mode”
    4. Wait for the device to reboot, and a “Safe Mode” message should be visible in the lower-left area of the home screen
    5. Open the apps drawer and go to “Settings”
    6. Go to “General”, and tap “Apps” under “Phone Management”
    7. Swipe to “Downloaded" and select the app you want to remove
    8. Tap “Uninstall” > “OK” to confirm
