Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the phone to the PC via USB
    2. Swipe the “Notification” bar down and make sure the device is connected as a “Media device (MTP)”
    3. Launch an Explorer window on the computer and navigate to the audio files on your hard drive
    4. Copy the files, and navigate to the phone storage
    5. Transfer the files in the phone’s “Media” directory, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Alarms” / “Audio > Notifications” folder(s). (NOTE: if either one of these folders is missing you can create it manually)
    6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray, and safely disconnect the device from the USB

    Change the General Ringtone:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Access “Settings”
    3. Tap “Sound & notification”
    4. Tap the “gear” icon associated with your current sound profile
    5. Tap “Phone ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
    6. Tap “OK” and optionally, enable or disable “Vibrate”

    Change a Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts stored on the SIM card or the internal memory.

    1. Launch “Contacts”
    2. Select the desired contact
    3. Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
    4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”

    Change the Notification Sound:

    1. Open the apps drawer and go to “Settings”
    2. Tap “Sound & notification”
    3. Tap the “gear” icon associated with your current sound profile
    4. Select “Default Notification Sound”
    5. Choose a notification sound and tap “OK”
