    Back Up Application Data:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Access “Settings”
    3. Swipe to “Personal” and tap “Backup & reset”
    4. Tap to enable “Back up my data” in order to back up Wi-Fi passwords and account data to your Google account
    5. To restore app data upon reinstalling apps, turn on “Automatic restore”

NOTE: App data will be automatically restored upon logging in with your Google account for the first time on a new phone, or on a device that was just factory reset.

    Back Up Contacts:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Access “Settings”
    3. Swipe to “Accounts” and select an account to sync your contacts to
    4. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

NOTE: Contacts backed up using this method will be restored automatically the next time you sing in with your Google account on the phone (such as after a factory reset).

    5. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB connector

Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the ZTE Grand X2 to your computer via USB
    2. Make sure the phone is connected as a “Media device (MTP)”
    3. On the computer, launch an Explorer window and locate the media files backed up on your computer
    4. Copy the files, and transfer them back on your phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory
    5. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray
