Check the Amount of SD Card Storage:

    1. Go to “Settings”
    2. Scroll to “Device”
    3. Tap “Storage”
    4. Scroll down and view the “Total” and “Available” SD card storage

    Change the Default Storage Location:

NOTE: By default your phone and pre-loaded applications will use the internal memory to store data. However, you can change the default location to SD card. To do so:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Scroll to “Device”
    3. Tap “Storage”
    4. Select “SD card” under “Default write disk”

    Format the SD Card:

WARNING! When you format the SD card, all the data stored on it will be removed. If necessary, create backups before the format.

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Launch “Settings”
    3. Under “Device”, tap “Storage”
    4. Scroll to and tap “Erase external SD card”
    5. Tap “Erase SD card”
    6. Tap “Erase everything” to confirm

Transfer Files from the Internal Storage to SD Card:

    1. On the home screen, open the apps drawer
    2. Open “File Manager”
    3. Tap “All files” and navigate to the items you want to transfer
    4. Tap and hold the file(s) you want to transfer
    5. Tap “Move” and navigate to the target folder
    6. Tap “Paste”

Transfer Files from the SD Card to a Windows PC:

    1. Establish a USB connection between the Grand X2 and computer
    2. Swipe the “Status” bar down and make sure the phone is connected as a “Media device (MTP)”
    3. Open an Explorer window on the computer and navigate to the phone’s SD storage
    4. Locate and copy the desired files
    5. Navigate to your backup location on the computer and transfer the files
    6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray and safely disconnect
