    Back Up App Data:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Open “Settings
    3. Under “Personal”, tap “Backup & reset
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up settings and Wi-Fi passwords to your Google account
    5. To allow your account to restore app data automatically when reinstalling apps, enable “Automatic Restore

    NOTE: When signing in with your Google account for the first time, on a new phone, or after a factory reset, app data will be automatically restored if backed up using the method above.

    Back Up Contacts:

    1. Access the “Settings” menu
    2. Tap “Accounts
    3. Select the account you want to sync contacts with
    4. Tap “Menu” > “Sync now

    NOTE: Contacts that have been backed up using this method will be automatically restored upon signing in with your Google account, either on a new phone, or after a factory reset.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the Acer Liquid Z630 to your computer via USB
    2. Drag the “Notification” bar down and make sure “Media sync (MTP)” is enabled
    3. Open an Explorer window on the computer and locate the media files stored on your phone
    4. Copy the files and paste them in the desired backup location on the computer
    5. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB

    Restore Media Files from a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the Liquid Z630 to your computer via USB, and ensure that the connection is set to “Media sync (MTP)
    2. On the computer, open an Explorer window
    3. Locate the media files backed up on the PC and copy them
    4. Transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory
    5. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray and safely disconnect the device from the computer
