    NOTE: You can visit this thread for a full guide on how you can back up data on the Kyocera Hydro Air.

    Restore Contacts from the SD Card:

    1. Make sure the SD card containing the backup file is installed on your phone
    2. Open the apps drawer
    3. Launch “Contacts”
    4. Press “Menu” > “Import / Export”
    5. Select to “Import from SD card”
    6. Choose the location where you want to restore the contacts
    7. Once the phone finishes searching for the vCard backup file, select it to import its contents

    Restore Media Files

    From a Google Account:

    1. On the home screen, tap “Apps”
    2. Launch “Photos”
    3. If necessary, tap “Sign in” and follow the on-screen instructions to log in with your Google account
    4. Choose to perform a backup over “Wi-Fi only” or “Wi-Fi and mobile networks”
    5. Tap “Turn on” and the phone will automatically sync your media files

    From a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the Kyocera Hydro Air to your PC via USB
    2. Swipe the “status” bar on the home screen and ensure the phone is connected as a “Media device (MTP)”
    3. Open an Explorer window on the computer
    4. Locate the media files backed up on your PC
    5. Copy the files, and transfer them on your phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory
    6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray, and safely disconnect the device from the USB

    From a Mac Computer:

    1. Open the Internet browser on your Mac
    2. Visit https://www.android.com/filetransfer/
    3. Click to “Download Now”
    4. Open “androidfiletransfer.dmg” on the Mac
    5. Drag “Android File Transfer” to “Applications”
    6. Establish a USB connection between your Mac and Kyocera Hydro Air
    7. Make sure the phone is connected as a “Media device (MTP)”
    8. Open “Android File Transfer” on the Mac, and drag > drop the desired files to restore them
