    Back Up Applications:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Open “Settings”
    3. If necessary, tap “Menu” and switch to “List view”
    4. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Backup & reset”
    5. Tick the “Back up my data” check box

    Back Up Contacts:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Launch “Settings” and if necessary, tap “Menu” and select “List view”
    3. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Backup & reset”
    4. Tap “LG Backup” > “Backup & restore”
    5. Tap “Back up data” and make sure “LG Cloud” is selected
    6. Sign in with your LG account if necessary
    7. Select “Personal data” and deselect the other options
    8. Expand the “Personal data” directory and select “Contacts”
    9. Tap “Start” and wait for the backup to end
    10. At the “Back up completed” pop-up, tap “Done”

    Back Up Data to SD Card:

    1. Access the “Settings” menu
    2. Tap “Menu” and switch to “List view” if necessary
    3. Tap “Backup & reset” under “Device”
    4. Tap “LG Backup” > “Backup & restore”
    5. Tap “Back up data” and make sure “SD Card” is selected
    6. Choose the items you want to back up
    7. Press “Start”, and tap “Done” at the “Backup completed” message

    Back Up Media Files Using the Phone:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Launch “Settings”
    3. Switch to “List view” from the “Menu” if necessary
    4. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Backup & reset”
    5. Tap “LG Backup” > “Backup & restore”
    6. Select “Media data” and deselect all the other options
    7. Expand the “Media data” folder and select the desired media files
    8. Tap “Start” to begin the backup
    9. At the “Back up completed” pop-up, tap “Done”

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Establish a USB connection between the LG G Vista 2 and computer
    2. Swipe the “Status” bar down on the home screen, and set the PC connection to “Media sync (MTP)”
    3. Open an Explorer window on the computer and locate the media files, or the “.sbf” backup file on the phone
    4. Copy the file(s) and paste it/them in the desired backup location on the computer
    5. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray and safely disconnect the device from the PC
