Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the LG Ray to your computer via USB
    2. Swipe the “Notification” bar down on the home screen, and make sure “Media device (MTP)” is enabled
    3. Open a File Explorer window on the computer
    4. Locate and copy the desired audio files on your PC for ringtones & notifications
    5. Transfer the file on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” / “Alarms” folders under “Media”
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray
    7. Safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

    Change the Phone Ringtone:

    1. Open the apps drawer and access “Settings”
    2. Under “Device”, tap “Sound”
    3. Scroll to “Call Ringtone & vibrate”, and tap “Phone ringtone”
    4. Select the desired ringtone
    5. Tap “OK”
    6. Optionally, you can enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom Ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts stored on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.

    1. Launch “Contacts” and select the desired contact
    2. Tap “Edit”
    3. Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
    4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”

    Change the Notification Sound:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Go to “Settings”
    3. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound & notifications”
    4. Under “Sound”, tap “Default Notification Sound”
    5. Select the desired notification and tap “OK” to confirm
