Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Acer Liquid Z530 to your computer via USB
    2. On the home screen swipe the “Notification” bar down and make sure “Media device (MTP)” is enabled
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer and locate the media files you want to use on your phone
    4. Copy the files and paste them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” folders under the “Media” director
    5. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray, and safely disconnect the device from the USB connector

    Change the General Ringtone:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Go to “Settings”
    3. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound”
    4. Scroll to “Call ringtone & vibrate” and tap “Phone ringtone”
    5. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
    6. Optionally, turn “Also vibrate for calls” on or off

    Change a Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be assigned to contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.

    1. Open “Contacts”
    2. Select the desired contact and tap “Edit”
    3. Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
    4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK” to confirm

    Change the Notification Sound:

    1. Open the “Settings” menu
    2. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound & notification”
    3. Under “Sound”, tap “Default Notification Sound”
    4. Tap the desired notification sound
    5. Tap “OK” to confirm
