Hi Tiffany, the phone is unlocked. It's useable. It just has this chicks name in it. I love women, but don't want to be one on my phone.

Thanks for your efforts. You are all so willing to help some one. Love this forum

Greetings Joe. Nope, never heard the name in in my life. The way I see it, they must put it in all their phones, for us little folk to remove later. SOMEHOW. ARGUUUUU. Is that how Charlie Brown *****s it? Talk to ya buddy

Good morning Joe, That's my opinion also, but how do you explain my old phone having "KIM MARCOS" also stuck in it? That was the Motorola 431g that I sent back to Tracfone. Thanks again for your thoughts

    Greetings Joe123456,
I'm another Sr. member. I'm interested in your post. I was given a replacement LG306g by Trackphone yesterday. It has the name of KIM MARCOS stuck in the Caller ID which lands on the face of your phone (Caller ID). I am not KIM MARCOS. I'm a 60 yr old guy. How are you doing with the phone after erasing all the factory data? Are you still able to purchase minutes from Tracfone? Please help me out

    HELLO?
I am still struggling to unlock (or break into) this found LG phone Model LGMS 345. There are no button or switches on this model except the power on button located on the rear of the body. When you do turn it on, it shows a contact number in case you found this phone. when I dial this number it informs me that the account has been cancelled. Also, you are requested to unlock the phone by using the "piano tiles." You must draw a pre-specified pattern with these tiles to unlock the phone. There is an emergency dialer option but I don't think that helps. I have tried to contact the owner but the only contact I have is the cell number -- which they can not answer as I have the phone. There is a second option (back up PIN) or Google account -- neither of which I have access to. Any ideas? I leave for Central America in two weeks, so this goes in the trash. Oh well. Seems a waste, though.

    dear joe
thanks for taking the time to re-answer this querie. Unfortunately, this LG does not have a volume control button on its exterior so this method is quite impossible to employ. I have opened the phone and inside it says Model No: LGMS345.
    Any further thoughts?

I have already answered the same question, just Press and hold the Volume Down button and the Power button. When the LG logo is displayed release the Power button only then immediately press and hold the Power button again. Release both buttons when the Factory data reset screen displays. this will clear all the data from your device. and you can use it.

I think that you need to look at this forum and browse topics. I'm pretty sure you will be able to find some kind of deal here.

    Hi!
I have just joined this site to try to find out how to unlock an LG cell phone that was left in my car. It belongs to a gal I hooked up with one night. I have no other way to contact this gal. Cell phone only and now I have the phone. I took it to a local cell provider they told me if I contacted her provider with the number and phone they could somehow contact her. Well? Metro PC had no interest in helping return this phone to it's customer. I called again and asked to speak to a supervisor who finally agreed to look up the number and the EMEI registration. She claims that the phone was not registered and they had no information on anyone tied to the phone.
So? I'm thinking I will just erase any data on it and use it as a back up phone. But, I have no idea how to do that. I'm NOT a thief and have tried everything I could to return the phone, but what can I do? If you have some other way of helping me return the phone to the gal I will. If not, is there a way to essentially break into it and erase her personal information and just use it?
If not, I guess it's going in the trash. Seems an awful waste, though. Can anyone help with either question? I have no other information. I don't even know what model it is or how to tell. That's all I have.
    Tx in advance!
