Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Establish a USB connection between the Lava Iris Atom 3 and PC
    2. On the phone, swipe the “Status” bar down and make sure "Media device (MTP)” is selected
    3. On the PC, open the File Explorer
    4. Locate the desired audio files on your computer and copy them
    5. Transfer the files in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” / “Alarms” folders on the phone storage
    6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB

    Change the General Ringtone:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Go to “Settings”
    3. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound”
    4. Scroll to “Call ringtone & vibrate” and tap “Phone ringtone”
    5. Select the desired ringtone
    6. Tap “OK” to confirm
    7. Optionally you can enable or disable “Also vibrate or calls”

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set to contacts stored on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.

    1. Launch “Contacts”
    2. Access “All Contacts” and select the desired contact
    3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
    4. Tap “Set ringtone” and select the ringtone you want to use
    5. Tap “OK”

    Change the Notification Sound:

    1. Access the “Settings” menu
    2. Tap “Sound & Notification” under “Device”
    3. Under “Sound”, tap “Default Notification Sound”
    4. Tap the notification sound you wish to use
    5. Tap “OK” to confirm
