There are so many file converters on the Internet that you can just Google the word convert and you will immediately have the site you need.

OK, I've been fighting with this for 3 days.

    I have a Samsung i907 (Epix) - Win Mob 6.1
I have some videos that I purchased from Amazon (unbox) and downloaded. I believe that they are in WMV format.

The Windows Media player is very jumpy on my phone. TCPMP plays them, but they too are jumpy. SO are the other players. Apparently, all the players use the Windows codec... which (apparently) is crap.

So I need to convert these to something else.

    Here's the help I need...
I need a free (or cheap) converter that will convert these files into an efficient file type (meaning that it plays without jumpiness) on that TCPMP can handle. (I like that player). Actually, if I could convert them to flv that would be fine with me too.

I also need to know the best settings to convert too. (screen size (I believe it's 320x320) fps, colors, etc that will get me the best picture and sound synchronization.

I apologize if this belongs in the Samsung thread.

    Thanks a lot.
