Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

NOTE: There are several ways to transfer audio files for ringtones from a computer, depending on the type of OS you use.

You can visit this thread page for instructions on how you can transfer contacts via Microsoft Phone Companion app or the classic Windows Phone app for desktop.

To manually transfer audio files without additional apps:

    1. Connect the Acer Liquid M330 to your computer via USB
    2. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    3. Locate the audio files you wish to use on your phone and copy them
    4. Transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” directory under “Phone”
    5. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB connector

    Change the General Ringtone:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Tap “Personalization” > “Sound”
    3. Tap the drop-down menu and select the desired ringtone
    4. Optionally, you can turn “Vibrate” for calls On or Off

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

    1. Tap the “People” tile on the Start screen
    2. Select the desired contact
    3. Tap “Edit” > “Ringtone”
    4. Select the desired ringtone
    5. Tap “Save”

    Change App Notification Settings:

    1. Open the phone’s “Settings” menu
    2. Access “Personalization”
    3. Go to “Sounds”
    4. Swipe to, and tap “Manage app sounds”
    5. From the menu, you can adjust the notification settings for each app

Block / Unblock Lock Screen Notification:

NOTE: For more privacy, you can select to hide lock screen notifications. To do this:

    1. Open the “Settings” menu
    2. Access “System” > “Notifications & Actions”
    3. Tap “Show notifications on the lock screen”
    4. Enable or disable the option
