You have to buy the complete panel of your Samsung Galaxy S4 and you have to hire an expert for this task.

I tried to save it on the way down but it hit anyway. It took a funny bounce and went 4 feet in an odd angle (because of my rubbery case) and landed in my dogs water bowl (on a stand) which was full of water.

I have an Otterbox Defender with holster clip. Oddly enough, most of my drops are because I think my phone is snapped into the holster clip when apparently it was not.

As for damage? I have none. When it landed in the water bowl it had a little bit of a gurgly earphone sound. That was cured when I took it apart and submerged my s4 in rice for 24 hours. Getting rice out of the charging port and earphone jack were the only slight problems. I can laugh about it now but I wanted to scream when it landed in the water.
Next time be careful, it is phone a device, which can be damaged.

whenever, phone goes with water, First you need to dry your phone completely, open your phone remove the battery and clean with cotton towel. put it in rice bowl for 3 days, so that inner water be taken by the rice. then you can power on. it is nice to hear that your phone is now working.

So I was going toilet, on my phone (as you do) and after I went to flush the toilet I dropped my phone in it. This was mid-flush, mind, so there was plenty of water flying around to be able to get into the headphone jack and charging hole. Of course I took it out with 0 hesitation and turned it on - it still worked. But now that I'm trying to charge it I'm worried that the charging port is broken. If that is the case, is it possible to get it fixed somewhere? Or will I need to get a new phone? Thanks in advance.
Edit: Argh I've had the charging cable in for about 20 min now and the red light isn't on or anything. I just tried turning it on and it didnt work but this could be either because of it having 0 battery, or because it's dead. Going to try replace the battery, will post results.
Edit2: UPDATE: Took the back case off the phone so the components and stuff were exposed, took out battery and placed both in rice. Took it out after a few hours and left it on charge for a while, just tried it and all is working properly.

Visit local service center with this issue and describe the problem. I think you will need to have new screen ordered.
    That is very disappointing situation.

I dropped my s4 tonight and now my screen is dead. I can make calls with my cars bluetooth but the screen is dead. Is there anything I can do with it. What is the s4 active? I saw an active digitalizer on ebay for a decent price. I have some minor computer repair so I think I might be able to repair it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    thanks
    Jeff
