Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the Asus ZenFone Go to your computer via USB
    2. Drag the “Status” bar down on the home screen
    3. Ensure “Media device (MTP)” is enabled
    4. Launch the File Explorer on the PC
    5. Locate the desired audio files on your computer
    6. Copy the audio files you wish to use for ringtones, and transfer them in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” directories on the phone
    7. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray, and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

    Change the General Ringtone:

    1. Open the phone’s “Settings” menu
    2. Tap “Sound” under “Device”
    3. Scroll to “Call Ringtones & vibrate”, tap “Phone ringtone”
    4. Select the ringtone you wish to use
    5. Tap “OK” to confirm
    6. Optionally, you can enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones to contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.

    1. Open “Contacts”
    2. Tap the desired contact
    3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
    4. Tap “Set ringtone”
    5. Choose a ringtone and tap “OK”

    Change the Notification Sound:

    1. Open the phone’s “Settings” menu
    2. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound & Notifications”
    3. Tap “Default Notification Sound” under “Sound”
    4. Tap the desired notification
    5. Tap “OK” to confirm and save changes
