Transfer Audio Files from a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the LG Tribute 5 to your PC via USB
    2. Swipe the “Status” bar down and enable “Media sync (MTP)” if necessary
    3. On the computer, open the File Explorer
    4. Locate the audio files you want to use on your phone
    5. Copy the files, and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and / or “Notifications” folder(s)
    6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray
    7. Safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord

    Change the General Ringtone:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Go to “Settings”
    3. Access the “Sound & notification” tab
    4. Tap “Ringtone”
    5. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK” to confirm

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be set to contacts stored on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.

    1. Open the “Contacts” application
    2. Select the desired contact
    3. Tap “Edit”
    4. Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
    5. Tap “OK” to confirm

    Change the Notification Sound:

    1. Access the phone’s “Settings” menu
    2. Tap “Sound & notification”
    3. Swipe to “Advanced Settings”
    4. Tap “More” > “Notification sound”
    5. Select the desired notification sound and tap “OK” to confirm
