    It isn't giving me the option to choose "none" for my password... Only options are Pattern, Pin and Password Why? Please help

    Turn On Device Lock:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Go to the “Settings” menu
    3. Optionally, tap “Menu” and switch to “List view”
    4. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Lock screen”
    5. Tap “Select screen lock”
    6. Select a lock screen setting between “Swipe”, “Pattern”, “Password”, “PIN”, “Knock Code” etc.

    Change Lock Screen Password / PIN:

    1. Open the “Settings” menu
    2. If necessary, tap “Menu” and switch to “List view”
    3. Tap “Lock screen” under “Device”
    4. Tap “Select screen lock”
    5. Select your current lock screen option to modify / change it
    6. Enter your current PIN / password etc.
    7. Tap “Continue”
    8. Enter the new password / PIN etc.
    9. Tap “Continue” > “OK”

    Turn Off Device Lock:

    1. Go to the “Settings” menu
    2. Scroll to “Device”
    3. Tap “Lock screen”
    4. Select “None”
    5. Enter your current PIN / password if necessary

    Turn Emergency Alerts On or Off:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Launch “Messaging”
    3. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
    4. Go to “General” if necessary
    5. Tap “General settings”
    6. Under “Other”, tap “Emergency alerts”
    7. Check or clear the boxes associated with “Imminent extreme alerts”, “Imminent severe alerts” or “AMBER alerts”

    NOTE: Presidential alerts are turned on by default and cannot be turned off.
