    Back Up Personal Data, Password, Settings:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Launch “Settings”
    3. Scroll to “Personal”
    4. Tap “Backup & reset”
    5. To back up Wi-Fi passwords, account data, and settings to your Google account, enable “Back up my data”
    6. Enable “Automatic restore” to allow your account to restore data automatically the next time you sign in

    Back Up Contacts:

    1. Access the phone’s “Settings” menu
    2. Scroll to and tap “Accounts”
    3. Select the account you want to use for syncing contacts
    4. Make sure “Contacts” is selected
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync now”

    NOTE: Contacts will be restored automatically the next time you sign in with your Google account. Otherwise, after sign up, go to “Accounts”, select your account, enable “Contacts” and tap “Menu” > “Sync now”.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Pixi 4 to your PC via USB
    2. On the phone, drag the “Status” bar down and enable “Media device (MTP)”
    3. On the computer, open the File Explorer
    4. Locate the media files on your phone and copy them
    5. Transfer the media files in the desired backup location on the computer
    6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from the system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Establish a USB connection between the smartphone and computer
    2. Make sure “Media device (MTP)” is turned on
    3. On the computer, open the File Explorer
    4. Locate the media file backups on the computer
    5. Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” folder
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
