    Back Up Data:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Go to “Settings” and, if necessary, access the “General” tab
    3. Tap “Backup & reset” under “Phone management
    4. Turn on “Back up my data

    Back Up Data to the SD Card:

    1. Open the “Settings” menu
    2. Tap “Backup & reset” under “Phone Management
    3. Tap “Back up safely” under “LG Backup
    4. Tap “Back up to” > “SD Card
    5. Select the items you want to back up and tap “Start
    6. Wait for the “Backup completed” pop-up and tap “Done

    Back Up Contacts to LG Cloud:

    1. Access “Settings
    2. Scroll to “Phone Management” and tap “Backup & reset
    3. Under “LG Backup”, tap “Back up safely
    4. Tap “Back up to” and select “LG Cloud
    5. When prompted, sign in with your LG account
    6. Tap “Personal data” and deselect the other options
    7. Expand the “Personal data” folder and make sure “Contacts” is selected
    8. Tap “Start
    9. When prompted with “Back up completed”, tap “Done

    Back Up Media Files on the Phone:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Go to “Settings
    3. Scroll to “Phone Management” and tap “Backup & reset
    4. Under “LG Backup”, tap “Back up safely
    5. Select “Mobile data” and deselect the non-media options
    6. Expand the “Media data” directory and select the media files you want to back up
    7. Tap “Start
    8. Wait for the “Back up completed” prompt, tap “Done

    NOTE: Once you back up the media files, you can connect the LG K7 to your computer via USB, and transfer the “.sbf” backup file on the PC.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the LG K7 to your PC via USB
    2. On the phone, drag the “Status” bar down and turn on “Media sync (MTP)
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media files on your smartphone and copy them
    5. Transfer the files in the desired backup location on your PC
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray, and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
