    Clear App Cache / Data:

NOTE: Assuming one of your third party apps doesn’t work as intended or takes up too much storage, you can try fixing these issues by clearing the app’s cache / data.

WARNING! When clearing an app’s data, your personal information stored within the application (such as saved games, profiles, high scores, settings, login and credit card information etc.) will be deleted. To avoid this, try fixing the app by clearing the cache only.

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Go to “Settings”
    3. If necessary, tap the “General” tab
    4. Scroll to “Phone Management” and tap “Apps”
    5. Go to the “All” or “Downloaded” screen
    6. Select the desired app and tap “Clear cache”
    7. If clearing the cache didn’t help, tap “Clear data” > “Yes”

    Clear the Phone’s Cache Partition:

NOTE: If your phone crashes, freezes, or runs out of storage inexplicably, you can try fixing these problems by clearing the phone’s cache. This can have similar effects as a factory reset, without losing any of your personal data on the internal memory.

    1. Open the phone’s “Settings” menu
    2. If necessary, go to the “General” tab
    3. Scroll to “Phone Management” and tap “Storage”
    4. Wait for the device to finish calculating data
    5. Tap “Clear data”
    6. Tap “Yes” to confirm

NOTE: If clearing the cache didn’t help, instead you can visit this thread to learn how you can factory reset the LG K7.

Reboot in Safe Mode to Remove an App:

NOTE: In case you’ve installed a third party application that causes issues and prevents you from removing it, you should be able to uninstall the app from within Safe Mode. In this mode all third party apps are disabled.

    1. If necessary, wake up the screen
    2. Press and hold the “Power” button
    3. From the power management pop-up, tap and hold “Power off”
    4. At the “Restart in safe mode” prompt, tap “OK” to confirm. (NOTE: Once the phone restarts, a “Safe Mode” label should be visible in the lower-left corner of the screen)
    5. Once in Safe Mode, go to “Settings”
    6. Access the “General” tab if necessary
    7. Scroll to “Phone management” and tap “Apps”
    8. Access the “Downloaded” section
    9. Select the desired application and tap “Uninstall” > “OK”
    10. To exit safe mode, simply press and hold “Power” and restart your phone as you normally would
