i just tried that`, and since i did it windows won't crash totally as before, but instead it changes the resolution to 640x480 and 16 colors, and says i should save my work...

Hi updater you could try updating your motherboards bios this may solve your problem as I had a simalar problem a while a go with a matrox 400

Hi!
I'm running a matrox g550 on a gigabyte ga8-irxp with a 1,8 P4, and sometimes my system breaks down and sets the resolution to 640x480 and 16 colors.

i'm using the latest matrox drivers.

does anybody know bout this problem?
