Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Use the USB-microUSB cable to connect the Maxwest device to your computer
    2. At the prompt, select “Media device (MTP)”. Otherwise enable this option from the notification area
    3. On the computer, open the File Explorer and locate the desired audio files on your PC storage
    4. Copy the files and transfer them on the phone storage, preferably under “Media”, in the “Ringtones” / “Notification” folder(s)
    5. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray
    6. It’s now safe to disconnect the phone from the USB

    Change the Phone Ringtone:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Open “Settings”
    3. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound”
    4. Tap “Phone ringtone” under “Call ringtone & vibrate”
    5. Select the ringtone you want to use
    6. Tap “OK” to confirm
    7. Optionally, you can turn “Also vibrate for calls” On or Off

    Change a Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts located on the SIM card, or on the phone’s internal memory.

    1. Open “Contacts”
    2. Select the desired contact and tap “Edit”
    3. Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
    4. Select the desired ringtone
    5. Tap “OK” to confirm

    Change the Notification Sound:

    1. Access the phone’s “Settings” menu
    2. Under “Device”, tap “Sound & Notification”
    3. Tap “Default notification sound” under “Sound”
    4. Select the notification sound you wish to use
    5. Tap “OK” to set it
