    Turn On Power Saving Mode:

    1. Access the phone’s “Settings” menu
    2. Scroll to “System” and tap “Battery”
    3. Tap the switch next to “Power saving mode” and set it to “ON”
    4. Tap “Start power saving” and select a battery percentage at which the mode enables automatically

    Enable and Manage Ultra Power Saving Mode:

    1. Tap “Apps” on the home screen
    2. Go to “Settings”
    3. Tap “Battery” under “System”
    4. Tap the “Ultra power saving mode” slider to “ON”
    5. Tap “Agree” to proceed
    6. Once the mode is active, you can tap “+” to add additional applications to the home screen in Ultra power saving mode

    Disable Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Hotspot, and GPS:

    NOTE: By disabling the phone’s connectivity options when they are not in use, you can improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Access “Settings”
    3. Scroll to “Connections”
    4. Tap the switches associate with the connectivity options you want to turn off

    Switch to 2G Connectivity:

    NOTE: If your phone runs low on battery and you don’t have access to a battery bank or wall socket, you can improve battery life until the next recharge by temporarily switching to 2G connectivity. To do this:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Launch “Settings”
    3. Under “Connections”, tap “More connection settings”
    4. Tap “Mobile networks” > “Network mode”
    5. Select “GSM only”

    Disable Background Data:

    1. Access “Settings”
    2. Under “Connections”, tap “Data usage”
    3. Tap “More” > “Restrict background data”
    4. Tap “OK” to confirm

    Minimize Third Party App Usage:

    NOTE: Certain third party applications can affect battery performance even when not in use, as they can still perform regular background processes. As such, by disabling or removing unused third party apps, you can improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Access “Settings”
    3. Under “Device”, tap “Applications”
    4. Tap “Application manager”
    5. Swipe to “Downloaded” and select the desired app
    6. Tap “Turn off” / “Disable”
    7. Alternatively, tap “Uninstall” > “Uninstall” to confirm and remove the app

    Lower Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. Open the “Settings” menu
    2. Scroll to “Device”
    3. Tap “Display”
    4. Tap “Automatic brightness” to disable the feature and drag the brightness slider to the left
    5. Tap “Screen timeout” and select a lower timeout value, such as “15 seconds” or “30 seconds”

    Change Sync Settings:

    1. Go to “Settings”
    2. Scroll to “Personal” and tap “Accounts”
    3. Select the desired account type
    4. Choose an account
    5. Clear the check boxes associated with the sync options you want to turn off
    6. When you’re done clearing boxes, tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”
