Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Galaxy S7 to your PC via USB
    2. Swipe the “Status” bar down on the home screen
    3. Tap “Connected as a media device” and select “Media device (MTP)”
    4. On the computer, open the File Explorer
    5. Locate the desired audio files on your PC
    6. Copy the files and transfer them on the smartphone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and / or “Notification” folder(s)
    7. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage from system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

Transfer Audio Files from a Mac Computer:

NOTE: Skip the first 3 steps if Samsung Kies is already installed on your Mac.

    1. Open the Internet explorer on the Mac
    2. Visit Kies Support
    3. Click “Kies 3 for Mac” and follow the on-screen prompts to install Kies on your Mac
    4. Next, connect the Galaxy S7 to your Mac via USB
    5. If necessary, enable “Media device (MTP)” from the phone’s notification area
    6. Launch Kies on the Mac
    7. Inside Kies, click the “Folder” icon associated with “Internal memory” or “External memory”
    8. On the Mac, open the file explorer and locate the desired audio files
    9. Drag the files and drop them in Kies. Wait for the transfer to complete
    10. Once done, eject the Galaxy S7’s virtual drive by dragging and dropping it from the desktop into the “trash can”
    11. Safely disconnect the phone from the USB

Add Transferred Audio Files to Ringtone List:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Launch “Settings”
    3. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sounds and notifications”
    4. Tap “Ringtones and sounds” under “Sound”
    5. Tap “Ringtone” > “Add ringtone”
    6. Select “Sound picker” or “OneDrive”
    7. Choose to use the selected app “Always” or “Just once”
    8. Select the desired audio files and tap “Done”

    Change the Phone’s General Ringtone:

    4. Under “Sound”, tap “Ringtones & sounds”

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
