I just got an LG-A340 from AT&T to replace (upgrade) from my older 2G Samsung SGH-A237 cell phone. I am trying to configure it so I can copy (backup) my contacts from my cell phone to my PC (Windows 7). With my older Samsung, I was able to use Samsung PC Studio, copy the contacts to the software on the PC. Even edit the various info on the contacts as I saw fit, then copy them back to my phone, (either phone memory or the SIM card).

So far, all attempts to do the same, with this much newer (LG & ATT both list this as a current model, not a discontinued older model), have not been successful.

If anyone knows how I can get LG PC Suite to work with this phone, please help. Also perhaps LG Bridge (backup), but even if I get that working, it seems more limited than the features in PC Suite.

    Thanks!
