    NOTE: To learn how you can back up data on the LG X Screen, visit this thread.

    Restore App Data:

    1. Swipe the “Notification” bar down on the home screen
    2. In the upper-right corner, tap “Settings”
    3. Go to “General”
    4. Tap “Backup & reset”
    5. Under “LG Backup”, tap “Restore from backup”
    6. Select the backup file you want to restore and tap “Start”
    7. At the “Restored” pop-up, tap “Done”
    8. If necessary, wait for your phone to reboot

    Restore Contacts from SD Card:

    1. Drag the “Notification” bar down on the home screen
    2. Open “Settings”
    3. Tap “General” > “Backup & reset”
    4. Under “LG Backup service”, tap “Restore from backup”
    5. Locate and select backup file on the SD card
    6. Tap “Start” and wait for the “Restored” prompt
    7. Tap “Done” and, if necessary, wait for your phone to reboot

    Restore Media Files From Your Phone:

    1. Open the “Settings” menu
    2. Go to “General”
    3. Tap “Backup & reset”
    4. Scroll to “LG Backup” and tap “Restore from backup”
    5. Select the desired media file backup and tap “Start”
    6. At the “Restored completed” prompt, tap “Restart” and wait for your device to reboot

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Establish a USB connection between the LG X Screen and your computer
    2. At the prompt, turn on “File transfer (MTP)”, otherwise turn on the option from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the desired media or “.sbf” backup file(s) on the computer storage
    5. Copy the files and transfer them on the phone
    6. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage from the system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
