    This is actually some really good information. I am going to be selling my S4 in just a little while, and the last thing I wanted was for there to be information on my phone that people would be able to trace back to me. This is going to ‘clean my slate’, which is exactly what I wanted to have done.

    The step 2 you've told seems like Hard reset. Or both the factory data reset and hard reset works in a similar way?

    Why have you needed to do a Factory Reset so many times with your new Samsung Galaxy S3? It sounds like the phone is either defective or there is an application that you have been downloading that is causing problems. You shouldn't need to do a Factory Reset often.

    Yeah, hats off to ya', camstuf! I've had to do this procedure 2 or 3 times now and I've only had this S3 for a few weeks now. I always miss something though, so this tut is a great tool for all of us!
