Looks like you need a good Android smartphone that doesn't cost the earth.

I purchased the HTC Desire 530, and apart from not being very loud to play music, I am delighted with it.

You can download Google Android apps, get email through it and browse the internet with Wi-Fi, 3G or 4G LTE.

One thing that is good about this phone is how fast it charges. Tops itself back to full from half power in about 30 minutes.

Others you could consider include the Microsoft Lumia 650, if you want a Windows 10 phone or the iPhone SE, if you want a good deal on an Apple phone.

    Hope this helps.

Hey guys. Never felt the need for a smart phone until recently when I am basically forced to have one from signing up to emails, to verification purposes with paypal, etc. I can just grab a cheap tracphone but I might as well invest in something that has more capabilites since I recently started a small online business.

In short, I don't have major requirements except that I don't need to spend 500$ on a phone since I most definetely won't be using it often. Maybe at most 200 minutes a month, maybe even 10 minutes a month.

I went online to browse my options and its just ridiculous how much there is out there and to learn about. On top of that there is also provider plans to sort out, ugg. It's a mess.

What I would like to be able to connect to the internet anytime I wish and not be deducted minutes like on tracphone. I don't think I need lots of data a month since I probably won't be downloading anything at all (I can use a computer to do that. Won't need too many minutes either. Is that what they mean by data a month? How much you can download etc?

So, which cell phone should I get? I'd like to shoot for a budget cell phone but at the same time have it decently powerful enough to maybe host some apps etc. Anyone know of any good deals? Maybe to a phone similar in specs to a galaxy 5? My maximum budget would be 200 US and I might even look to grabbing one used or refurbished. Any solid places to checkout online or browse? Also is it possible to pay on amonth to month basis and not be tied to yearly contract? Which provider should I go for that would offer such a thing? Is it better to go with a provider first and pay for the cell phone per month? I wouldn't want to spend more thant 25-30 a month for a provider.

Sorry for so many questions but I'm quite a noob and not sure where to start here. Thanks
