    NOTE: For instructions regarding how you can back up data on the LG G5 Lifestyle, follow this link.

    Restore App Data:

    1. Swipe the “Status” bar down on the home screen
    2. Tap “Settings” in the upper-right corner
    3. Tap “General” > “Backup & reset”
    4. Tap “Restore from backup” under “LG Backup”
    5. Select the desired contacts backup file and tap “Start”
    6. At the “Restored” prompt, tap “Done”
    7. If necessary, wait for your phone to reboot and complete the process

    Restore Contacts from an SD Card Backup:

    1. Open the phone’s “Settings” menu
    2. Tap “General”
    3. Tap “Backup & reset”
    4. Scroll to “LG Backup” and tap “Restore from backup”
    5. Locate and tap the SD card backup you want to restore
    6. Tap “Start” and at the “Restored “pop-up, tap “Done”
    7. If needed, wait for your phone to reboot and complete the restore

    Restore Media Files Using Your Phone:

    1. Go to “Settings” and tap “General”
    2. Tap “Backup & reset”
    3. Scroll to “LG Backup” and tap “Restore from backup”
    4. Locate and tap the media file backup you want to restore
    5. Tap “Start”
    6. At the “Restore completed” pop-up, tap “Restart” and wait for your device to reboot

    Restore Media Files from a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the LG G5 Lifestyle to your computer via USB
    2. When prompted, tap “Media sync (MTP)” / “File Transfer (MTP)”, otherwise enable the option from the phone’s “notification area”
    3. On the computer, open the File Explorer
    4. Locate the media file backups or the desired “.sbf” backup file
    5. Copy the file(s) and paste them on the phone storage
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray
    7. You can now safely disconnect the LG G5 Lifestyle from the USB connector
