    NOTE: You can visit this thread for instructions regarding how you can back up data on the LG Stylo 2.

    Restore App Data:

    1. On the home screen, swipe the “Status” bar down
    2. Tap “Settings” in the top-right corner
    3. Tap “General” > “Backup & reset”
    4. Under “LG Backup”, tap “Restore from backup”
    5. Select the contact backup file to restore and tap “Start”
    6. At the “Restored” prompt, tap “Done”
    7. If necessary, wait for the phone to reboot

    Restore Contacts from an SD Card Backup:

    1. Go to “Settings”
    2. Tap “General” > “Backup & reset”
    3. Scroll to “LG Backup”
    4. Tap “Restore from backup”
    5. Locate and select the SD card backup you wish to restore, then tap “Start”
    6. At the “Restored” pop-up, tap “Done”
    7. If necessary, wait for your phone to reboot and complete the restore

    Restore Media Files From Your Phone:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Tap “General” > “Backup & reset”
    3. Under “LG Backup”, tap “Restore from backup”
    4. Locate and select the media backup file(s) you wish to restore
    5. Tap “Start”
    6. When prompted with “Restore completed”, tap “Restart” and wait for your phone to reboot

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Establish a USB connection between the LG Stylo 2 and computer
    2. At the prompt, tap “Media sync (MTP)” or “File Transfer (MTP)”, otherwise enable the option from the Notification area
    3. On the computer, launch the File Explorer and locate the media file backups or the “.sbf” file you want to restore
    4. Copy the files and transfer them back on your phone storage
    5. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone’s virtual drive from the system tray, and then safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
